Pacca Brick work
Mostly Pacca brick work with cement sand mortar used for construction of building in open field areas with different ration of mortar like 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6 , 1:7, 1:8 as per site requirement mostly for houses used 1:4 ratio and for stores heavy weight walls used 1:5 or even 1:6 for drains / foot paths or low weight structure which have to cover with plaster or plain cement concrete.
Hilly areas
In hilly areas where it is not possible to provide bricks used stone masonry for any type of construction like houses . culverts, bridges,retaining walls , parapet, or other structure with the cement sand mortar ratio 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6 , 1:7, 1:8 as per site requirement. But it is difficult to construct with the stone masonry because it is very hard work to shape the stone in proper cubes. After construction it is more durable than brick work but it is costly than brick work and more labour to be provided for that.
